This page explains what personal data the vertyx.it website processes, why, and what rights you have, as required by Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
Who is responsible for your data
Vertyx S.r.l., Via Galileo Ferraris 13, 43036 Fidenza (PR), Italy, VAT no. IT03154240349, tax code 03154240349, is the data controller. For any questions: info@vertyx.it · +39 0524 505270.
What the website collects
The website is a showcase: it has no forms, asks for no data, uses no cookies and no analytics, profiling or advertising tools, and stores nothing in your browser.
- Browsing data. As with any website, the server that hosts it records the IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type. This is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse and attacks: the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). It is kept for a limited time, no longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate a crime.
- Fonts. The pages use the Geist typeface, loaded from the Google Fonts service: to download it, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as an adequate safeguard for transfers to the United States.
When you write to us or call us
If you email info@vertyx.it or phone us, we use your data (name, contact details, whatever you tell us) to reply and, if it leads to a job, to manage it: the legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps and performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, for invoices and tax documents, compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). We keep correspondence for as long as the relationship requires, and tax documents for ten years, as required by law.
The files and prescriptions of cases that dental practices entrust to us may contain patients' health data: we use them only to make the custom-made device requested, according to our agreement with the practice that sends them and the obligations of manufacturers of custom-made medical devices.
Toronto Check
The Toronto Check program, accessible from the menu, has its own privacy notice, because you create a profile there. It is the only part of the site that uses cookies, both of them technical: a session cookie, which keeps you signed in and is deleted when you close the browser, and one that remembers your chosen language for a year. Technical cookies do not require consent; that is why the site shows no banner.
Who sees the data
Authorised Vertyx staff and the providers we need for the website and email, appointed as data processors; and advisers and authorities, when required by law. The website is hosted on servers in the European Union. We do not sell data and do not pass it on to others for their marketing.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive a copy and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 of the GDPR), by writing to info@vertyx.it. We reply within one month. If you think your data is not being processed properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
If we change the way we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
